I'm doing my school's pageant and I don't know what to do with my make up. I normally get a stylist to do it for me, but we aren't allowed to have them in this pageant, we have to our hair and make up ourselves and I need some ideas for make up to do with my outfits. I have Steel Blue eyes and dark blonde/ light brown hair. My formal wear dress is a dark turquoise and my casual wear is a white skirt with a three tone purple top and silver glitter....PLEASE give me some suggestions as to what to do with my makeup..... I have some ideas, but I want to try some new things too. Thanks so much!!!!!

I'd suggest doing a nice gray smokey eye and light, pink glossy lips. Maybe more add some berry lipstick with the gloss to go with your purple top.

You can do your nails in a pale ballerina pink shade to compliment the look. It will be pretty, but not distracting to the judges.

This would be a pretty fall/wintery look with your blue eyes.

I think it would be a mistake to try and "match" your makeup to your outfits...you want to look made up, but not like you are trying to hard.

And, I always Iike a grey shadow with blue eyes...it's so pretty!

Good luck!

for your formal dress i would shy away from dark coloured shadows as your dress sounds colourful enough.. i would do a very natural look skin kissed and bronzed get a vanilla highlighter shadow and highlight cheeks, under the brows and a natural shimmer on your lips is all you really need i would accentuate the eyelashes though as you probably have light lashes use a few coats of black to make your natural eye colour pop. For you casual outfit i would again play up the lashes choose a two tone shadow Annabelle sells these and they are great complimentary colours use the light purple (very light) as an all over brow highlighter and do the creases of your lids with the darker purple black mascara and a clear lip gloss and again a nice bronzed sun kissed face will be a really nice natural look if your outfits are glittery you dont want that on your face. Good luck hope it helps!

Different shades of brown. Defanitly don't go tooo dark. Use light colors of brown, like shimmery golds. Don't go into any colors because then it will clash.

I think you should do a maroon shade of lipstick, rosybrown pink cheeks, and silver eyeshadow. Strange. But if you put it on right, it looks good.

I would go with light pink eyeshadow, black mascara, blush, bronzer and a pink lip gloss. It molds well with any outfit.

you didn't state the color of your skin. any way use purple as highlight, brown midtone and a light blue under tone.
