okay. well, i saw this on some website and i wanted different opinions. this girl was saying that she likes this guy a lot bla bla, she was around 12-13, and sometimes she would feels or imagines herself having sex or being touched by the guy. she never did anything with him, never even let him touch her in wrong places, but she still wonders if she is being disgusting, perverted, or doing something wrong. or maybe its just puberty. remember though, she does think pretty gross thoughts at such a young age, but she has never really DONE them.
i am not saying it is right,
but i cannot judge her because at least she has NOT done those things, and maybe its just hormones.
do you guys think what she is doing okay?

we all mature at different rates. I wouldn't dare to judge her.

Yes, it's part of puberty. It's hormonal. Those thoughts will go on the rest of her life, and they go through every girl's mind. The difference is acting upon those thoughts. At 12 or 13, I don't think she's emotionally equipped to deal with the consequences, good or bad. She's not disgusting or dirty, she's just human. By the way, it's not your place to "judge her," is it?

To have those ideas or dreams at that age is normal, part of sexual curiosity. What is not normal is to follow those dreams or those ideas to make it real....the human mind cant control every idea or every "bad" dream, sexuality is important but becomes anormal when the person is fanatic, is obsessive always thinking about the other person even in a normal sense.

It is important to have sexual education at this age, not only to prevent problems in the future but to understand other's sexuality, this doesn't sound like pervertion , sounds like curiosity in human nature when growing up.

Its also important to know which kind of readings, of movies etc this person has because all that data is going to have influence in the mind and thats one way to control those ideas, it is important to find other activities in puberty.

At puberty age the person needs to undersrtand that he or she should control the hormone and feelings not let feelings control life....

It's never OK for one so young to participate in sex, by actuality or fantasy, this leads to other concerns, and makes me wonder where she got the fantasies from in the first place?, and even though she may not have acted on them, it is a fact "where the mind goes, the body is soon to follow". this child(and yes she is still a child) need to fill her mind with something more beneficial like what she wants to do with the rest of her life. And I say no this is not a part of puberty, but it is a natural part of growing up.

Unfortunately, yes. Only because kids are losing their innocence so young nowadays thanks to the internet. What with porn everywhere and such. I am only 15 and I don't even do everything you just said that she does. Even if it is hormones, she shouldn't be acting like that at such a young age, but this is just my opinion.

She is at the age where she is starting to learn about sex and sexuality. If she is thinking about it there is no harm. If she is acting on it she may need some counseling because she is a little young. I wouldn't worry. It's just part of growing up.

Sounds pretty young to me.......But then again I am old! lol
I can tell you my 13 year old son sure has some pretty hairy discussions with his friends. They know more than we give them credit for most of the time.........I mean heck, I had sex the first time at 15 and that was a very, very , very long time ago....kids are growing up faster and faster....

It's a perfectly natural part of puberty, I felt those feelings often, especially before I lost my virginity. I was 17 when I lost myvirginity but, before that I had alot of "fantasies" It is NORMAL. So don't worry.
