Ummmm, yes.....we are very staunch defenders of the bill of rights and so your question makes no sense. I know you forgot but there is a day we've named 9/11 where 3,000 Americans lost their lives due to an attack by unknown terrorists from several different countries and that was the first day of what we conservatives are now calling the "War on Terror." Being a liberal you probably have no clue about such minor matters as Geneva Conventions and Bills of Rights but I have a sneaking suspicion that though you are clueless on war, have never served our great country a day in your life, nor did you lose anyone on 9/11 you are prepared to put the rest of us at risk to be cool and repeat the liberal party lines like the parrot you are. I'm sure you are about to tell us how these scum of the earth, murdering terrorists should be treated to warm, comfortable surroundings out at Gitmo. We should feed them well and give them Starbucks, right? You are so clueless as you enjoy the freedom that George Bush has granted you and your family. Open your eyes and realize that these terrorists are not part of the American family. They have no rights under our system of government and if they have information about attacks being prepared against our great country then I say we use any "legal" means necessary to get that information. If it causes these losers a little discomfort then so what?

Not that I could ever tell. Where did you get that idea? best i could ever tell they always wanted the government to enforce their ideas of morality. now they want to make sure everyone is in their places with bright shiney faces.Wow love the way they pretend these laws only apply terrorist. how is ti we want to tell the world that we are spreading freedom throughout the world and at the same time sy that our ideas of rights and freedoms on apply to Americans. It has been an American ideal since the founding of this country that all people were entitled to human rights and civil liberites. we have fought wars to protect the human rights of other countries....hell I thought that was why we are supposed to be in Iraq in the first place??? somehow we talk the talk and then refuse to practice what we preach. why does the world hate us? guess?

Just a question, where in the Bill of Rights or the Constitution does it state the military detainees or terrorist detainees are entitled to all Constitutional rights guaranteed to legal American citizens?

Well nothing
But conservatives feel a need to support this administration. No matter what they do. Sort of like how democrats refused to admit Clintons follies. We have stopped using our brains when it comes to politics.

Terrorists are NOT covered under the Geneva Conv.
NON US Citizens are NOT covered under the Constitution OR the Bill of Rights.
Maybe you can ask a terrorist when they're cutting off your head what THEY THINK.

HAVE YOU EVER HEARD of the saying that goes:
Treat others as you want to be treated?"
"Hmmm"....if someone killed someone VERY close to you, you would want to kill them back
There troubled childhood is not your fault, its no ones fault that they killed someone. But there going to reap what they sew because they killed someone.
DO YOU COMPREHEND?
Life for a life.
Limiting trial rights...ya. A murderer or burgler that has been caught on camera doesnt have a right to stay on the streets and scare people, mk? got it? ya.

Are liberals into torture? I don't think Republicans are into torture at all. The strong tactics are only for extreme cases and have been considered not to be torture. If we were like the Muslims, we would just behead our prisoners.

The Bill of Rights does not apply to illegal enemy combatants. They should not have any rights.
