when i put on eye liner or really any kind of make up, i can't ever seem to get it to stay on all day. my eyeliner runs, and my foundation and powder never stay on. my main concern, though, is the eyeliner. how can i get it to stay in place??

Sounds like you have oily skin. There are several product lines out there made specifically for oily skin, you should try those.
You may also want to try a waterproof eyeliner, or my favorite, liquid eyeliner. It lasts much longer, but is a little harder to remove.
On the foundation part, try products made specifically for oily skin, and dont use too much. Blot perspration and oil off of your face with blotting tissues. This absorbs oil (sweat) and helps keep makeup on for longer.
Also, after you have all of you make up done, take a regular tissue(kleenex), put it over your face, and dust loose powder through it. This will help "set" everything! This trick works especially well on eyeshadow, and lipstick!

your face may be oily and thats not really your fault as the days goes on your pores open causing your face to get oily and your makeup will come off very easily so just carry around and kind of fave wipes my person faves are neutregena. and also everymoring before you apply your eyeliner if you have it use a q-tip and dab white eyeshadow around your eye, rub ot in. it will make the eyeliner stick more

Get waterproog eyeliner. Sometimes when u accidently touch your eyes the oil in your skin rubs it off, but if you get waterproog eyeliner it wont happen.

Depends on what king of skin U have ?
Maybe, U should call a Mary Kay rep. or go to one of the department stores that does facials, and have them show you some of there products that helps with these kinds of problems.

If your skin is oily get a cleanser and wash every nite that will help it stay on. Also i use may baleen eye liner and it doesn't come off!! good luck

try an all day powder and foundation,,,(they make those),,, and try wetting your eyes b4 aplying eyeliner.i use maybeline eyeliner and it stays for three days!! seriously...it comes off well when you wash it but if you don't wash it it stays for time and memorial...lol hope this helps!

i use a smudge to put my eyeliner on - you dont use as much eyeliner this way and it stays on all day - i got my smudger from the body shop

try mary kay eye primer. apply it b4 applying the eye liner. it helps your eye makeup to come out well and stay in place. also try to moisturise your face b4 applying your foundation and powder. it really helps. goodluck

buy a non=-smudge eyeliner. Try the one by revlon, i heard it's really good.
