The "oldies" channel I listen to at work plays almost all '80's music. Supposed to be the best music from the '60's, '70's and '80's, but mostly just plays the same 10 songs form the '80's over and over.

I would say they already should. In the '80s, the oldies had the '50s '60s and '70s.

No, it probably will just be called the 80's station...Oldie's remind of the classic good music that gave the start to popular music today. Music from the 1980's in my opinion is some of the worst music ever created.

I don't know where you live, but if you are in Chicago you can listen to 97.1 the Drive. They feature classic rock from the 60's, 70's and are starting to play songs from the 80's as well. Also, JCK (jack-FM) which I know is played all around the US.
