Well I'm 15 weeks into my surprise pregnancy. My little girl started school the same day i found out I was pregnant. My husband is still standing in the same place I told him with his jaw on the ground. LOL No seriously, it was a broken condom that gave us this gift. We are now both very excited about it and pray everything goes well. Due to my rocky first pregnancy we had chose not to have anymore. SURPRISE! lol Our family are all overjoyed, they knew we had no intentions of having anymore. But it happened and we are all adjusting very well to our surprise. There was no doubt we were keeping it, my husband was worried at first, but he's ecstatic now, hoping for a little boy he can teach hockey to! Best of luck to you. Remember, intended or not, babies are a true gift. Enjoy!

Our son was a surprise. After our "night out" to celebrate our anniversary my husband and I had a little too much to drink, and we were using NFP and it just so happened the night that we could go out (baby sitter, jobs, etc all in line) I was ovulating. I packed up the condoms and film, yet awoke the next morning feeling violated, noticing the condoms still in the packaging. We told everyone, in fact I just knew I was pregnant when we left the hotel room. I was hoping not (I lost my job and we were barely making it paycheck to paycheck) but when the test came up (two days before my first missed period) positive we just bared up and took it. My son was not "planned" by no one other than God, but I am sure glad we had him. He just turned five.

My last pregnancy was a surprise too. 3 months after giving birth to my first son...we were in shock, for a week, then denial, then we had no choice we had to go with it. Now I have a 22 month old and a 9 month old...wouldn't change a thing...except for more sleep!!! Abortion was not an option, my husband and i don't believe in it, and we were honest with everyone, we call our 9 month old our "unplanned blessing"

i did have a surprise pregnancy.... as soon as i found out i told my husband... we talked... about how things were going to change.. and how are going to handle our new responsibility... there is nothing to do.... once you are pregnant there is no turn back.. just look forward....we told our families right away... i told them we were not planning on it.. but it happened and we are happy.
my daughter is turning 2 years old on January... let me tell you... we look back now... and realize having our baby was the best for our marriage...
having a baby is the most beautiful experience you can have.... whether is planned or not... it doesn't matter... what it matters is you are having a baby... and you have to be happy

Let's just say that we had a little too much fun in Ireland. Now our son is almost 5 years old. My husband and I had been married for only two years when I got pregnant. We had told ourselves we would wait 5 years before trying. It was a little nerve racking- but I can say he was the best mistake that I have made!

How can a pregnancy be a surprse or even "unintended" when one chooses to have sex? Pregnancy is one of the many concquences of having unprotected sex the pill is NOT 100% effective as birth control so when one chooses to have sex there is ALWAYS that chance of getting pregnant. Therefore it can't be a "surprise" or unintended...since it was chosen.
