These plates mentioned above float on a sea of lava. The volcanos that are found along the seams between the plates could actually happen anywhere, but they happen at the seams because there is less resistance to the pressure there. It's like, there is water throughout all of the pipes in your home, but the most likely place they will develop a leak is at the joints.

the ring of fire located around the pacific coast line. Volcanic regions are found where the earths plates cracks are. The world is maked up of plates and so where the plate ends and a new one starts this is where volcanic regions are

the pacxific rim is probably the easiest to answer as it is believed our moon was pulled out of the area leaving a thinner crust . the upheaval itself was probably the reaon nwhy most volcanic activity happens there than anywhere else.
however the others were probably created by movements among the earths many plates that keep rubbing together and creating pressure that pushes crust upwards and leaves vents for magma to escape.
