I'd like to believe that the men wanting a decision in pregnancy are :
A) honoring their belief system- that a baby is a child and not a choice
B) 100% willing to accept shared financial and emotional responsibility in raising the child to age 18
and
C) not at all like the deadbeat Dad I know of who fathered a son, moved out of state to avoid court ordered child support, and never saw the boy again.

I tend to get defensive on that one too... Obviously, it takes two to make a baby, and in that sense they are equally involved in a pregnancy, but that's pretty much where it ends. The birth and ultimate responsibility are the woman's -and it is a very scary thought to me that a government (I'm assuming the rich old men you refer to) could force me to carry a child to term against my will.
