I am doing a science lab for school right now. For the conclustion questions, my outline says to put ideas for experiments of new variables that further explore this problem. Then, it says "describe new experimental design." What does that mean?

They want you to further your experiment past the parameters that you set in your hypothesis. Do your experiment, and then after the conclusion, discuss what direction those new variables may have taken your experimental design. Say I wanted to extract all of the liquid mass from a pound of strawberries to see just how much fibrous matter they made up. My hypothesis might state that I could bake the pound of strawberries in 45 minutes to make them completely dry. If that worked, then I would add new variables, like a pot of water in the bottom of the oven. How long would it take then to bake the water out of my strawberries with the steam from the pot of water? All they want is for you think beyond the experiment - study the consequences. Good luck!!

all they want is for you to put down your ideas where further expiermentation and reseach could be done.

Example: you do your study on aircraft wing design, your looking at airflow over said wing. Further studies could be conducted with wing shape, wing construction, metallergy, etc.........
