My ex had an drunken uncle who tried it. He was a Nova Scotia fisherman...and swore he could do it...he never resurfaced.

I walk on water every winter, it's called ice fishing. It's really great. It's like fishing in your toilet, through a little hole in the ice. In goes the bait, out comes the fish. It's not quite that simple, but it's quite that fun!

Sure! I've done it since I was a child. Just need to be sure the ice is thick enough so you don't fall through.
