My husband I have been having unprotected sex for the past 2 weeks. I get my period in about another week and half. I am clearly ovulating, but I was wondering. If I was actually pregnant, would my body still produce that mucus during ovulation? For some reason I thought if I was pregnant it wouldn't. SInce I don't get my period for a while now, Im playing the guessing game.

Yes, your body will still produce a discharge, but it has a different consistency to it.. I believe it will be thinner, but you'll still have it.. You can refer to some books on concieving but I know you do still have mucus during fertilization.

Early pregnancy also produces plenty of mucous, so perhaps it is that? Are you charting? Temping? If so, did you notice a thermal shift? You can learn more about your body's fertility signs and functions at http://www.fertilityfriend.com
