Unlivable no. But not as enjoyable. None of my Italian dishes would be that good without garlic. Next time you make a pot roast make incisions into the roast so you have little pockets for garlic cloves. I bet once you try it, you'll never want to eat a roast any other way!

oh yea, LOL our household goes thru tons of garlic gloves a week and garlic salt on everything

I couldn't cook without garlic and onion. Life might not be unbearable without them but it sure would be diminished.
