If the war ends, how will we fight terrorists on their own turf?

Terrorists generally don't have turf. At most, they have small compounds out in the wilderness, kind of like local militia groups.

We're not fighting terrorists in Iraq, and only partially in Afghanistan. We're fighting against two or more sides of a multi-way civil war.

There is no proof that what we're doing in Iraq will have any effect on terrorist activities outside Iraq, and no evidence that if we weren't there those people whould be doing anything outside Iraq. Even the Pentagon admits that Iraqis weren't the primary terrorists in any attacks outside Iraq over the past decade. So there's no support for the argument that by fighting them in Iraq we're preventing them from attacking somewhere else.

We're not fighting terrorists on their own turf now. We're fighting someone else entirely, and the terrorists who are going to attack overseas are already probably overseas. That's the problem.

We will wait on our hands untill they take more countries in the middle east, then they will attack isreal and probably conduct more attacks on the US and Britain. Then we will wonder how we could have stopped it, instead of just crushing them all now.

Too all who read this, don't think appeasing these people will get us anywhere but in deeper trouble. Look at what is really going on in France right now. Appeasment is causing the French to have more casulties at the hands of the so called peaceful people, then the amount of casulties we have suffered in Iraq. France is at war in their own country and they won't admit it or acknowledge it. Remember HItler, appeasement worked real well there.

And to those who bring up the lame argument, our presense there is not causing more terrorists. Those people fighting us in Iraq are not even from Iraq, most are now coming from Africa. We are being bred out and Western Civ is coming to an end. Europe is done because they have done nothing. IF we pull out, they will just keep coming. Trust me. Learn from their past. They only understand violence.

The Iraqis hate being occupied by a foreign power. If someone occupied the USA...we'd be fighting back too.
