They didnt do nothing to you. All they done was their job. That doesnt give you any right to be putting down the people that leave in north carolina or the people that pull for the canes. This wouldnt be much of a NATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE, if there wasnt hockey all over north america.

I agree with you. This is a national hockey league. And plus there are going to be teams that you hate. But you dont need to take it out on the people who pull for them or live in the same state. I live in North Carolina. Not everybody is as dumb as you think. There are people who know what a hockey stick and puck are. I mean, they do watch the news.

According to game 7 Carolina deserved the cup. They won fair and square.All because Edmonton's goalie got hurt in the early part of The series, doesnt mean their backup goalie couldnt have been just as good as Roloson. Carolina proved to be a good team during the regular season and the playoffs.

Well, technically it's an "inter-national" league as they play in both the US and Canada.
People dislike the 'Canes because it's NASCAR country and they feel that hockey is an afterthought for most people. They don't embrace hockey in areas that aren't traditional.
I have nothing against any of the fans in this league except for the fans that have the nerve to blindly hate.
I love this sport and I love the Sabres more than any team but I know that there are good players and great fans on every team and on any given night you can see pure magic on that ice.

Anyone who hates the team just hates them because their team was crushed by them or because of some old rivalry. It's juvenile and takes away from the fun of the sport.
We Buffalo fans deal with the same thing. I constantly read posts by annoying bullys that put down my home town and my team just because they can't beat us.
Don't listen to them. Just enjoy the sport. There is nothing wrong with the Hurricanes or any other team in the league. And there is nothing wrong with supporting your hometown team.

hockey has fallen apart once Bettman went on to add all this low market teams in the NHL and that's what hurt this game. you probably weren't even born when hockey was great you started watching this game with all the rules change the clutching and grabbing you didn't get to see what hockey is meant to be played you see it the way Gary Bettman wants it to be like for most American viewers can understand the game.

Because Carolina didn't deserve the Cup. They sucked. Edmonton should have won. They were clearly the better team going into game 7. But the 'Canes got it because Bettman is anti-Canadian and probably told the officials to let Carolina win.

I love the Hurricanes. They're my third favorite team. I think you are simply running into a lot of jealousy... especially from the Buffy-fans. / It's simply cowardis.... - it's much too painful to point their fingers at themselves or their team so they point it at someone else resulting in a stagnant funk that continues to keep them suppressed and bitter.
The only thing I have against Carolina is that fact that (at the NHL awards show "which I found to be a joke anyway") they thanked everyone under the sun.... except their fans. The acception to these facts is Mike Commodore who constantly thanks and shows his appreciation to the Carolina fans...
Don't let the bastards get you down. Alot of people love, and are extremely proud of, Carolina... - Focus on these people.

welll i hate them becuz they DESTROYED the sbres d-fense(im a HUGE sabres fan) n they RIPPED away our chances at the cup. I dont got anythng against the fans, but i hate the team.
