My favorite all time broadway musical period was "Dreamgirls".....Jennifer Holiday was in the original cast and she was just great.....this play was so fantastic.....She sang that famous song "I'm not goin". A popular song which has been sung at alot of clubs in Manhattan for years.
Anyhow........I understand the movie is coming out....Beyonce will be in it.....make sure you see the movie.....won't be anything like the wonderful play! Yes, I liked Hairspray too....saw it years ago though.
