I do not condone hanging or murder of any kind.
But surely if it is right that Saddam Hussein should hang then, by the same token, it must be right that George Bush should hang.
Bush is the biggest mass murderer of all time.
He is responsible for countless deaths every day.
Surely, in justice and in fairness, he deserves hanging too?
Hopefully we are a more civilised society by now, and we can just lock them both up, and throw the key away.
The only other alternative is to hang them side by side.
But we could never justify taking a life.
We have no right to do that.
So hanging is not an option, in my view, for either of them.

I definitely agree with you. I also disagree with Kaboom. The Bush administration preemptively invaded a nation and then did their crimes against humanity but dropping the equivalent of 1/4 million Nagasaki bombs of depleted uranium (DU)in their secret nuclear war. Despite gulf war syndromes coming from all four places we have used DU, despite 13,000 gulf war vets dying, despite 67% of them having kids with serious birth defects, Bush used it again harming our troops while using them to gain support for himself.

Despite birth deformities in Irauis infant so horrific I have never seen anything like them from our first use of DU under his dad, Bush administration use it again so now birth deformities are up 1000% and will be even worse since we upped the amount used several times. Cancer is also up 1000% so more deaths.

Then consider that all food and water is contaiminated in the region for 4 1/2 billion years and people who won't even know us will die and suffer extreme sickensses and birth deformities of the same horrific nature (google the words severe birth deformities (and crimes against huminity) and look if you dare (scroll down the page).

Then think how we also exposed our allies to it and their countries as it has spread to 15 countires including Europe as it has been found even here from testing over 400 miles from the test site and p[lants. Since we have connected air and water ways, soon all human DNa could be damafged as well as that of other species. (For instance, birds were found melted to tree branches.

These deaths are in addition to higher number of abortions, 45 million without health care (and all the deaths and suffering that causes), suicides (and rise in domestic violence and child abuse) that results from outsourcing of jobs, inability to find a job of a living wage, and from loss of 50 billion in cuts from various social programs..when vets hospitals are used, food programs diminished, housing cut and resulting homelessness, deaths and suffering are a result. There are death from the environmetal damage and substandard food we eat due to lobbying etc and then there is death and suffering for future generations by the ignoring of global warming.

I think history will judge him and what was done on his watch as the greates act of terrorism and crimes against humanity ever seen of this planet. Plus when you drop napalm, du etc on Iraqis, they are angry and easy to recruit to terrorism as wheh you see most of the dead (100,000 to 600,000) are under the age of 15 or woman, you generally want revenge so attacks may take place in retaliation for our use of DU. Midwives are scared to deliver the babies as the moms go hysterical, etc when their Frankenstein like baby..so long awaited..is born. You cant do that kind of things to others and not have it eventually come back on you.

At the time of Saddam's alleged offences he was a Head of State, it is now generally recognised that he had nothing to do with Osama and would have probably got rid of him if he had showed his face in Iraq. Various American and British governments among many others had been happy to sell him everything he needed for mass murder so perhaps they were equally 'partners in crime'. Of course none of these governments want people to remember this as it's an inconvenient truth. I am sure more than George Bush would be hanged if all things were equal.

in a just and ideal world Saddam, Bush and his cronies and Tony Blair should be treated the same none of them has a scrap of human decency about them .but saying that i think sentencing someone to death is murder as well ,so i can`t say yes maybe they should all have a long holiday in Guantanamo with no extra privileges i doubt if many would agree with me but i think Bush and Blair are worse than Saddam with their double standards and hypocrisy If the UK and US were really so bothered about Saddam having weapons and slaughtering people why sell them to him .and i think some people must have been asleep for the last few years why on earth are they still making out `Iraq was some kind of threat when even the governments have had to admit it wasn't i don`t think that Saddam even killed 7 hundred thousand

Yes I agree with you! Bush is a mass murderer of All time. He killed at least 30.000 in Afghanistan, 700.000 in Iraq (the number is rising each hour), covered and supplied Israel while killing thousands in Lebanon and Palestine...All the idiots who do not agree with you, they are living in denial, they supported Bush in his OIL war in Iraq under a big lie called WMD which never was found. Saddam -though deserve death- did not kill in that short time people as much as G Bush did. The difference is that all the world is calling Saddam murderer, while some head bangers still think that Bush was still right. They should hang Bush, Blair, Rice, Cheney, Rumsfield, Powell...too just for justice to be achieved!

Tricky one. Whether you agree with it or not, Saddam's sentence is the law in Iraq. It's not our place to judge their laws. Bush should be impeached, and i'm sure that the american people could kick him out through mass protest if they chose to. Unfortunately, the U.S. public are still caught up in the whole 'revenge for the victims of 9/11' mentality, the government and the media only amplify this situation in order that G.W. could finish what his dad failed to do in the first gulf war, all under the pretence of 'bringing democracy' to Iraq. and what a good job they've done so far. NOT!

The point your making in a sense is a valid one - that George Bush is responsible for the deaths of countless innocent civilians in both Iraq and Afghanistan and so is comparable to Saddam in terms of crimes against humanity.

In my opinion neither of them should be hanged. But that's because I don't believe in capital punishment - whatever the crime. You can't say killing is wrong and then kill someone. It's lunacy.

the whole situation is wrong so hanging bush ,however usless he is wont help the situation. the court in saddams case are just going by the rules whether the trial was done fairly or not.
soldiers know when they sign up they will go into places where they may die and they have to deal with that. doesnt mean that the war was right or polititians arent selfish

I doubt if he will hang. There will be an appeal, and it wont be in the news, and he'll eventually be forgotten.
This is a very political situation, and the timing of the court decision is more important than the actual decision, immediately before the election!
