I need to laugh in front of a funny movie though not demential please. Suggest your favourite funny movies, thanks

That depends on what you find funny. There are a lot of different styles: irony, slapstick, etc.

I like What About Bob, for Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss. I really like Richard Dreyfuss in everything I've seen him in. I would also suggest A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. The simple fact that Seudelus (guessing how to spell it, pronounced SOO-duh-luss) is able to keep up with everything he's telling people is great. I would love to see Nathan Lane playing that part. I just don't know how or where to find it. If you want to watch stand-up, I would suggest Eddie Izzard, or Jeff Dunham (who is a talented ventriloquist). If you prefer classics, go for the Marx Brothers. Or maybe the Three Stooges. If you're looking for a recent film, I suppose you could look for Just Friends (with Ryan Reynolds).

If you like to watch comedy concerts, watch Bill Cosby Himself, I ws rolling on the floor and crying by the end I was laughing so hard.
If you dont like those, try:
Anything by Kevin Smith, Finding Nemo, Monty Python an the Holy Grail, Blazing Saddles, Annie Hall, Airplane, or Young Frankenstein.
