Yes it's normal. Try listening to other groups (as they should be called, not bands) from the mid 60's to 80's. As most modern groups/bands/singer have ether covered or sampled songs/music from these times
Enjoy listening to what made music, music

The initial question sounds like your suprised that you listen to Status Quo. Can imagine someone asking that: "I listen to Status Quo?" As far as I'm concerned the only people worth listening to are over 18 so dont worry, keep listening.

Well done for listening to class act who have been around for nearly 40 years! As a 52 year old,I remember listening to their late 1960s tracks and have all their greatest hits in my collection. I also listen to music aimed at much younger people like yourself and enjoy the music of Gnarls B, Goldfrapp, Amy Winehouse mainly due to listening to BBC Radio 2. I would also like to direct you to the music of The Moody Blues. These guys have been around since 1964 and have just recently had a sell-out tour here in the UK. I would strongly recommend a 2cd set called 'The Singles Plus' which gives an overall account of their career. It is a Dutch import and should still be available. May I also recommend the music of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young as well? Either way, carry on enjoying the music of my generation and beyond. All the best and happy listening!

Well my mom loves them so of course I hear them all the time and really they are a class act, I'm your age and have been to a couple of their shows which rock!! When it comes to music its about the individual. You listen to what you want, don't worry about whether its normal, be an individual!! The beauty of music is that you can be a fan of so much different types and its nobody elses business!

Listen to whatever you like. I'm not a fan of the Quo myself, but if you like it f**k everyone else. I mean, I listen to Belinda Carlisle and Sigur Ros back to back... :)

Why not, they're a really great band.At least you can understand what they're saying.
I've always listened to older music,i find it very easy listening and sing-a-long to.
Some other greats you might like,
Whitesnake,Chicago,Def Leppard,Toto.
These are what music should be about, not bass thumping in your ears.
