I always loved star trek? do you like it? what is your favorite ?

Yes, I watch ST when I can. I imagine that you are at the age where you have seen the original series with Captain Kirk & Lt.Commander Spock in re-runs.

I on the other hand saw Star Trek as original episodes...not as re-runs. Whoa, did I just date myself!

And my favorite character....it's a toss up. The original Space Cowboy; James Tiberius Kirk or Mr. Spock.

By the way; did you know that in the pilot the 2nd in command was a woman and Spock was 3rd in command as the science officer? The big-wigs at NBC (the original network that carried the series) canned the woman and put Spock in her place. Why? They decided that the TV audiance wouldn't accept a woman in a position of authority.
In fact, Gene Rodenberry wanted the Capitan of the Enterprise to be a woman.

Also, the original Captain was not William Shatner or Kirk. In the pilot Jeffery Hunter played Captain Christopher Pike. The story goes that his wife, a world class top model insisted he turn down the part because it wouldn't help his acting career. BIG mistake!

I love Star Trek! I don't have a favorite though, I like all the series, each has its good and bad episodes, some more than others. In two Star Trek clubs, its fun to be around other Star Trek fans. And what better place to be in that Southern California? I think we have access to more Star-trek related sites than most other clubs, lol...anyway, yeah, its great.

I watch Star Trek: The Next Generation, and I do not know if I have a favorite episode. But I do have a favorite character: Brent Spiner's Data. Yeah, baby!

i liked tng my favorite episode was masks when the ship was being turned into some city by an ancient library and data was all the characters also the one where a probe interfaced with captain picard and he became someone on a plant whos sun was dying...and to tell you how much of a star trek geek i am i even read the books although not so much any more

I used to watch Star Trek.
Not sure which was my favorite, they each had something in different that intrigued the viewers. I loved watching the original series as I loved William Shatner, but when Voyager came on the scene, I equally loved the way they put a woman in charge. Like I said, they each had some great qualities.

When I was a teenager I was a huge trekkie. I want to a bunch of the conventions. I have a ton of books, comics, cards, and action figures all tucked away in hopes that one day they will be worth something - LOL. Around the last year of STNG I wasn't intrested in it anymore. I like ST movies 2-4 and not really the STNG movies. I will always have a thing for William Shatner. And although he was probably not a favorite of most I loved Will Wheaton (Wesley Crusher) on STNG - But hey I loved him from Stand By Me.

I have always loved Star Trek, both the original, and the Next generation. My favorite is the next generation series, and Lt. Worf is my favorite crew member.

I've been a big ST fan since I saw The Final Frontier in the theater. NG was fun. DS9 was OK but got monotonous. Didn't get into Voyager. Enterprise was fantastic with a continuous storyline. Too bad that one died early because of a bad time slot.

Yes, I watch Star Trek, and I like TNG and Voyager, Voyager being my favorite. TOS is just too old-school, never got into Enterprise, and DS9 is just no fun for me.

Yes, the original w/Captain Kirk is my favorite but if i watch 1 min of next generation I have to watch the rest of it.
