I turn everything off. I won't get distracted that way. Keep focus on the wok and take breaks for water or food every once in a while.

Turn everything off. I can't study or do homework in room where the T.V is on or where there is music playing.

Quiet, no TV or music
Drinks handy
Food handy (so you don't have to get up several times for whatever)
And just resign myself to getting down to do it. It really isn't as hard as I think it's going to be, but I have to force myself to start!
