I want to use my bigger home computer to set the site up but use my laptop to keep up on it. Does it matter either way? And any suggestions as far as credit card people to use?

No, the site will "live" on the Net, not on your computer's hard drive. You can use either one to set it up and access it.

Use PayPal.

works for ma and it doesn't matter.

for credit card I would NOT do it until you are well established. The credit card companies (no matter who you go with) charge a usage fee which by VISA VIOLATION you cannot charge a different price for credit card transactions. Plus the ones I had with my business long ago burned me on transactions I had to wait for several months to get the money that was rightfully owed me. Not to mention the machine that you have to lease to process the credit cards in your store (if you even have a storefront loaction) which that will take a hit on your bottm line as well. But paypal and other places like that may be more internet friendly now than back when.

well the desktop will work better it can take the heat issues better as far as credit card services it is quite expensive to use a service for this a huge setup fee and process fees and transaction fees its better to have a credit card machine at your office to process the orders yourself until you see if you make the money

Yahoo has a good one and of course there is ebay so check them out and it should not matter which one you use
