they were concerned that they would be ruled over badly like with the king and at leastr wanted a bill of rights to be added to the constitution or else they wouldnt agree to ratify it. they didnt want a too strong government cuz they were afraid they would have a lot of taxes and not very much power to the ppl.

Well, basically, the antifederalists felt a strong central government would invariably lead straight back to a monarchy or dictatorship. Power would be too far away from the hands of the people.
