Its position at time t is s=1-10(cos)pi *t. What is the cart's max speed? WHen is the cart moving that fast? What is the magnitude of the acceleration then?
(I got the answer 10pi=31.42cm/sec; t= .5 s, 1.5 s, 25s, 3.5s ; accel=0cm/sec^2, again please correct if wrong)

3.From a thin piece of cardboard 40 in x 40 in, square corners are cut out so the sides can be folded up to make a box. What demensions yield a box of max. volume. What is max. volume?
(I got 26.7 x 26.7 x 6.7; 4746.7 in^3)

1st Problem:

Let's see, if we sell 198 thousand candy bars, we are giving them away, which is terrific for volume, but bad for profit.

Revenue = x P(x), = 9x-(x^2/22) differentiate to get 9-(2x/22) so x/11=9 x=99

Price would be 4.50
