A young homeless orphan in New York City tries to find his long lost relative and meets many interesting people along the way.
A young boy in Africa learns the ways of his tribe and becomes a man. His family is killed and he seeks revenge.

No idea. The question is far too vague. I would need to know a few things, such as is the main character male or female, are they even human, do you like to write Fantasy, or do you prefer basing the story on nonfiction? The best advice I can give you is think up a creative character. Some strange combination of attributes, such as a top-notch librarian who goes home and roots for the football team. Focus on the personality of characters, first and foremost. And if you could add a little craziness, I'd read it.

write about: an old man who just lost his wife and is devastated, a duck who can't find his mommy and all the other duckies are out to get him, a murder on a mountain, or a bunch of evil fishes that are trying to take over the world.. good luck
