The Liberal press does not.

Did you know that 100's of THOUSANDS of Iraqis are parading in the streets today celebrating the sentencing of Saddam?

You won't hear that in the Liberal Press. Violence in Iraq is WAY down. It was an average of 100 per day until now. Today only 20 have died. The insurgency is dwindling.

The violence is slowing down, but to support the war is different. Is the world a better place without Saddam? Maybe yes (at least the Kurds are better off). The problem was that the U.S. lied to the world with the entire WMD story.

However, what is done is done. We need to support the peace effort. If the U.S. leaves know, violence may increase in Iraq. So we need to support the effort to stabilize the country so it does not collapse. So I will not support the war, but I will support the effort to bring peace to Iraq; even it means by force.

Absolutely not do I support the war! My boyfriend came home from Iraq after serving the Army and was never the same. He even agrees we have no right there. How much more blood has to be shed for oil?

I do not support the war, but I do support the troops. I think that it is a crying shame that men and women of our country are shipped off to Iraq to fight a war that is illegal, immoral and unjust! What has the nation that our fore-fathers made under the constitution and noble ideas of freedom come to, when our news reporters lie, our name is hated throughout the world and our own president can't seem to do ONE thing about it?? I'll tell you what, our nation is in shambles and what do our citizens have to say about it???? "I support the war! Do you? The Liberal press does not." Don't get me wrong, I love this country, I love the ideas that it was bulit on but what I HATE, what I can't STAND is what our country has come to... An Imperialistic nation, one that is probably making our fore- fathers stir in their graves!

No!

Today only 20 have died because there's an imposed curfew in anticipation of the massive bloodshed threatened resulting from Saddam's sentence.

Violence is on the rise lately, the majority of Iraqis want us out and the majority of iraqis support attacks on US troops.

This Liberal heard about the celebrating and they certainly have good reason to celebrate BUT the war is in Afganistan. Iraq was a "nation building" project the hypocrite Bush and Haliburton and company conducted for PROFIT!

i am a military wife. also my sister-in-law and my brother-in-law are both over there. all three of them get seriously mad when they watch any kind of media. my sister-in-law put it best:" so, when are they going to show the hospitals i built, the energy we brought back to regions that lived in the dark for years? are they going to report about all the Iraqis who welcomed us with huge signs, hugs and flowers? or about the kids that wanted to know everything about American lifestyle and learned the words"cool" and "awesome", with their parents standing by laughing?" yes it is a war, so don't make it worse than it already is. i'm not even a citizen (i'm German), but i feel like i appreciate and support this country more than these flaming liberals whose idea of supporting our troops is to tell them they are fighting for nothing, their friends died for nothing or they lost a limb for nothing. they are doing a great job and don't deserve this controversy. we all can voice our opinions freely because of these brave men and women. so at least report that , too.

um ... right. 80 dead bodies were found on the outskirts of Baghdad yesterday apparently tortured and killed by Saddam's old death squads who have infiltrated the new American trained Iraqi police force. over 100 US troops were killed in Iraq last month. "last throes" and "turning the corner" has been going on for 3 years now and all we've got to show for it is Saddam's stretched neck.

sorry but Iraq is in utter chaos. 100s of thousands of Iraqi civilians are dead, 2828 US troops are dead, 21077 US troops are maimed, Billions in taxpayer dollar are spent (unaccounted) every month and the USA is TRILLIONS of dollars in debt (mostly to communist China), our Constitution is in tatters, our once respected country is now held in contempt by most of the free world community, the Military brass is calling for Rumsfeld's resignation ... even GW's neoCON cronies are deserting GW's sinking ship.

but don't let the facts shatter your rose colored glasses.

Yes. And, unless the notion of al Qaeda camps all over Iraq appeals to you, you had better do so also.
