I would like to know who designed the dell logo because I am in need of a logo and I like the Dell logo. Any information would really help out!

The Dell logo was most likely designed by the Marketing/Advertising Agency that they work with. It probably went through a lot of testing/refining to get to where it is today, which translates to Millions (and I don't exagerate) of dollars. You can certainly try and go after that agency, but there are thousands of agencies that design great logos. Depending on your budget, you can probably get a hold of a smaller marketing firm or even freelance creative team that might be able to help you out.

You can not use a logo similar to the dell logo as that is copyright infringement. I know a lady that makes nice logos. Her name is Lara Gatlin. Email me and I will give you her email address.
