It would appear from this site that they do. I have been doing my job quite well. Keep tuning in.
Please remember - politics trump truth every time.

These other things you speak of have nothing to do with my question. Our President and this administration perpetuated the lie that Iraq was directly responsible for 9/11. Isn't that important to you?

2006-11-05 05:50:53 · update #2

Not to get off track, but the 9/11 commision said there was no credible evidence that Saddam Hussein had any connection to Al Qaida. In fact he did not allow them to operate in his country because they were a threat to him. No I don't think he was a good guy.

Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.

It was just another lie in the failed attempt to get Americans to support an invasion of Iraq.

Al-Queda, and Al-Queda alone, attacked the US on 9/11.

No, And i don't for one second believe that Al - queda or Bin Laden did it either

9/11 was PROBLEM - REACTION - SOLUTION. This is a manipulation technique which has been used countless times by powerful organisations to achieve their goals. One of the most important things to realise is that this technique WILL be used again, and again in the future, with more and more devastating results.

Briefly, Problem - Reaction - Solution goes like this... lets say you’re a government and you want to invade two countries.. and start a global war on terror, which essentially gives you immense authority over anyone you deem to be a ‘terrorist’ anywhere in the world (lets not forget you also get to set the definition of who the terrorists are) you also want to pass many laws which increase your power and that of the police, and you want to pass anti terror laws which enable you to restrict civil liberties. If one day you announce all these plans to the nation, you would have an immense opposition to these things and it would be impossible for you to implement your goals…

So here’s what you do, firstly you create a PROBLEM… enter 9/11, your country has been attacked by a foreign enemy, you then use the media to incite and intensify fear in your citizens, this then creates the REACTION you desire….. Something must be done!!! A terrified citizenry will then be willing, if not eager to allow you to do what you wish.

Here is where you introduce your SOLUTION… the invasion of your intended targets, power increasing laws, and so on, basically systematically introducing your pre determined goals to a subdued and terrified people who will no longer object, because they perceive themselves to be under attack.

And if people question what you are doing? Well you refuse to directly address their concerns and constantly repeat the mantra that your country is under attack and in danger.

The technique of Problem – Reaction – Solution – can be imposed over many, many world events and terror attacks, what you have to do is look at what has happened after the event and ask Who benefited from it? Who benefited from 9/11? It wasn’t you, it wasn’t me, it wasn’t the families of dead American solders, it wasn’t Muslims, or Iraqi’s or the people of Afghanistan.

But the American government did pretty well out of it, the oil industry, Halliburton (the oil company Dick Cheney was former boss of) and the arms industry, which are making billions, did very well. Executives of construction companies with links to the bush administration who were awarded contracts in Iraq did well, plus many others.

Yes, unfortunately, you have a massive number of "sheeple" who take Fox News, Hannity, Rush, and the many interviews of Dick Cheney, Rumsfeld, and so on, and take the bait, hook, line and sinker to stand dogmatically without question that Hussein was behind 9/11.

They believe the myth of 9/11.

Evidence continues to mount each day which proves that 9/11 was an inside job. It was covered up by our government. And there is reason to believe it was orhestrated by our government. More an more people are coming forward. Many of who worked within the government.

The 9/11 Truth Movement is an unstoppable juggernaut. Our numbers are growing.

Only the stupid ones. It has been clear from the outset, to anyone who was not living in a cave, that the only issue with Iraq was the WMD's. Did Iraq have such? Of course it did -- it used them. Was Iraq required by the truce agreement and a dozen subsequent UN resolutions to dispose of them in an accountable manner? Certainly. Did Iraq do so? No. Were they a continuing threat? Absolutely -- in fact, Iraq was literally within hours of launching a WMD attack against Israel when the first Gulf war made it impossible to do so. So, what became of the WMD? Read the reference to find out. And, unless you like the idea of al Qaeda camps all over Iraq (and possibly having them take over the government), we had damned well better stay there until the job is done.

No, and no one ever said they were.

We did however say that they gave comfort to Al Queda, which has proven on many levels, and reported by many news agencies, to include ABC and the BBC.

Also we have U.N. Security Council Resolution 1441.

And we have an Executive Order signed into American Law by President William Jefferson Clinton stating that the OFFICIAL POSITION of the United States was regime change in Iraq.

So naturally you can dig up the quotes of when Rush or other conservatives said these things over and over again, right?

Considering many American's get their information from the network news and the newspaper, what does that tell you?

Did we ever think Iraq was behind 9/11? I must have missed that bit of misinformation.

"He (Saddam) has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

Less and less. Quite dramatic. And more and more Americans think our gov't was involved. See the "Loose Change" documentaries on YOUtube.
