There are more boys than girls born, but women live longer. I don't know at what age women become the majority.

there are the same number of girls as there are boys. just because in other states there are more boys than girls or more girls than boys however you want to put it but in the end it all evens out.

It is roughly even, people will usually say more girls, but it is not true. Some countries have more of one than another, but over all, it is almost 50/50.
