The tank itself is quite inexpensive $20-25...if you need the entire set up check out Walmary. I got my 30-gallon with/everything for $79.00

It depends where you live. I got a 29 gallon for free off freecycle! You can try that a used tank will cost way less. If you have a wal-mart they have aquariums cheeper then most other stores. Plus they have kits too!

It depends on where you buy it and if you just want the tank or you want the lights too. You can get them at garage sales, flea markets, salvation army stores or even online at places like http://www.craigslist.org/ or http://www.freecycle.org/ for really cheap or even free.

idk i got a 10 gal with a light and filter at walmart for
4 30 but with jsut the tank it would be $10 but i didnt check for 20 gal
