Think of it like this: You have a choice of raking / blowing the leaves BEFORE the snow comes or AFTER the snow comes.
BEFORE the snow comes you are dealing with just the leaves and you get to look at your yard with satisfaction of a job well done. You get to enjoy the wonderful autumn smells.
AFTER the snow comes you may be dealing with physical therapy if you happen to slip and hurt yourself or break something. And you may be dealing with lawsuits if somebody else slips and breaks something. And there won't be any smells to enjoy because it will be too cold outside.

Once you make a huge pile of leaves you can climb on the roof and jump into a few times...then bag it up and enjoy your tidy yard.

If you DON'T go do it your neighbors will turn you into the city codes department who will give you a citation that will cost you a $100 bucks........
