What kind of power of arrest do security professionals have?

no special powers of arrest, they merley do citizen arrests.
Normally thier companies have bonds, liabitly insurance and will hlpe fight charges brought against the security person.

Since normally they are hired for that specific position, the courts look more agreeable to thier arrests or "detaining.
Most do what they do and call it detaining for the police to do the arrest. ( merely a play on words)
