Linuxiat, is that supposed to be funny? Why would a kid buy a Thinkpad? This is a business computer that I am Purchasing for my job and personal use, you moron. My mom's not paying for it.

Using a higher definition video driver will mean the increase in pixel definition will cause you image/s to shrink!

Especially since your screen realestate isnt going to get that much larger!

Unless you feel that this is going to impress anyone or maybe you like the idea, I say your throwing your money into a hole in the ground!

Anyway, once you have a widescreen, any benifits of having a marginally wider-wide screen will deminish!

Take your money and buy something usefull
