what is a w.i.c. inside a home?

I read all these great home plans, and there is a space in the plan labelled w.i.c, usually open into a bedroom. Is it a lavotory? there is also a bathroom connected to the bedroom, that why i don't understand.

A w.i.c. on blueprints is an acronym for "walk-in-closet." Unlike a regular closet a walk-in-closet enables you to enter, turn on a light, and close the door behind you. A walk-in-closet can also be a walk-through closet, which means you must walk through it to access the ensuite bathroom.
