I want internet connection even if I'm in the middle of nowhere, such as on a boat in the middle of the lake.

Verizon's monthly charge for satellite is $80 I believe. Last I checked anyway. I think I understood though that you have to still be close to a tower for it to work. Correct me if I am wrong on this latter.

You can buy a Verizon Wirless Internet PC Card for between $50-$200, depending on how well you want it to recieve the signal. It costs $80 a month to use the card.

try a wireless card form a someone like sprint verizon ect the general work where ever cell phones work. There is a montly subscription cost for that service though

You have to buy and pay monthly for satellite internet. A card will be installed on your computer.

if where you go you have access to a cellphone line then have a look with a mobile operator for internet access (with a pcmcia card) or you can have a satellite access

sprint wireless has a service about 120.00 a month works ok its a pcmcia card with a antenna, Hope this helps

look for isp first and ask them if they provide u internet data card,ive used reliance data card in india.the coverage is great and speed somewhat better than dial up.
