A sketch can be in any medium and is usually a visual notation or notations to be completed later when time permits. A drawing is usually a line composition and is a finished work in its own right.

a sketch is totally diffrent then a drawing!! a drawing is s picture that someone drew and took their time with and is colored!! a sketch is a drawing that is shaded with pencles and you blend in the penciles with a tisue or finger or this art tool!! also the sketch isnt colored!!
