Thank you very much indeed. You have made me an extremely happy by asking that. I now live in Northampton but lived as a child all around london,
Fulham
Plumstead
Chelmsford
Colchester
Chelsea. London itself is a very diverse city and has one of the best police and ambulance services in the country. I.E northamptonshire police were ranked bottom of the performance ratings recently whereas the Met where in there at number 3.
Also london has so many fantastic places to go out. For example Leicester Square, Home of 95.8 Capital Radio London and the world famous Leicester Square Odeon and so many amazing restaurants and places to eat. Then there is Trafalgar Square again with some great places to eat and relax. For the heritage i reccomend taking the walk from trafalgar down to Buckingham Palace. Then of course is the world famous Hyde Park home to the diana memorial fountain again with great restaurants and lovely place just to relax or play sports.

I love London too. It really pretty day or night. I think its a very picturesque city. The way almost everything is old and well cared for. I love the ease with which I can get around and the fact that people understand when I speak. I love the West end too. I also like Marks and Spencer.
Would I live there full time. My answer is yes. Life is expensive so try get a decent job.

I loved London, lived there for 2 years! I lived in Wimbledon but unless you have the money you end up in a small flat. I say if you loved it so much living there is great! We hardly had loads of money but I had fun. There was always something to do, you could get anywhere at anytime yet you didn't need a car, and I would stay in the Southwest London

London is great apart from the academic liberal elite that go on 'save the whale' marches.
They are the people that are always moaning that you never see a Policeman and when they get caught doing anything it's Police harassment.
Or they moan when they go on protest marches about the next lefty issue.fox hunting 4x4's etc moan that the planet is to crowded and never see the truth by visiting us in the countryside.
Take my advice live 50miles from London and take advantage of the London Social life buy a 4x4 and annoy all the lefties.

At least you'll never be guessing and wondering what it would have been like or how much you would have enjoyed it. And hey, when your settled, let me know so I can crash at your home! I have friends who lived there and all of them hated it and got away as soon as possible. They advised me not to ever settle there. The dirt ,pollution and smog is desperate not to mention the heat in Summer. However somewhere not too far from london, in the suburbs might be ok. I go visiting to surrey sometimes. about 30miles or a bit less from London and I would like to live there.

Why not! If you get a good job there you can afford the lifestyle. As long as it's the right move for you go for it.
I love visiting London, so much to see and great nightlife.
