They can! But some choose not to. People treat you the way you teach them. If a boy shows you ANY lack of respect, then you simple, cut him off, send him packing, hang up the phone, whatever it takes to demonstrate that you will not put up with any of his sh*t.
Now if you fear losing him by doing that, & you cut him some slack, & let him get away with disrespecting you, then you will teach him that he can get away with it, & you won't have his respect at all.
Just remember this. True respect isn't something that you can demand from people. Sadam Hussein had the respect of the Iraqui people while he was in power, but it wasn't earned. People respected him because they FEARED HIM.
You earn peoples respect by demonstrating YOUR respect for THEM.

We do. Your problem is the same as so many womens. You cant see a good man in front of you because you are looking past him at the bad boy, player guys. Women have to be used and abused a lot of times by the bad types before they open their eyes and want a good man. Then us good guys have to deal with all the damage those kind of guys have done to you emotionally.

Some boys think girls respond better to being badly treated, and some girls encourage them to think that way. 'Treat em mean...keep em keen'. That's not my philosophy though.

boys will never show girls respect until they become a man and until that happens dont waist your time trying to get respect cause itt just does not work

Some guys have respect for us . Sometimes the guys that dont have respect have areason to not have respect for that girl.

Boys sometime think girls are like toys to play with. THey like fooling around with them because they are pretty. just don't hang around with those kind of boys.

some guys do, but others try to impress their friends and be stupid, and act like they dont care about anything--only when their friends are around. but when they are just around you, things change sometimes, well, most of the time. That's what i get out of it!
