Toyota makes the best small pickups worldwide. Hard working, light, good on gas. In the USA you can't get the best ones (turbodiesel 4x4) so I got the second best, a Dodge turbodiesel 4x4. Bigger but it has a really good motor made by Cummins, a maker of big rig motors. 200,000 miles on my Dodge and it never needs work. I'd say the worst option is any ford later than 1979 or so when quality took a dump.

Are you asking which Domestic truck is the number 1 seller?
If so, it's a close run between Chev and Ford with Dodge making headway to 2nd spot.
Imports have their own with Toyota leading the pack.

On a scale of one to 10 about an 11, more likely a 99. John DeLorean tried it and failed and he was far from ordinary. He was an auto executive with an established record of designing and building great cars, he had billions of dollars from investors and the Irish government and he failed. So did Preston Tucker, also a well known car builder with what many consider the finest car of its day. There are probably others who also failed but none come to mind at the moment. If well known established car builders and auto executives with hundreds of millions of dollars failed what do you think your chances as an ordinary man with no funding are? My opinion as I already said, 11.

Would assume light pickups...So, being a ford guy, I would say ford...But since they've had 2 major recalls in a year...I think they are falling off that hill. I now would tend to think it'd be Chevy.
