I am about move from where i am and need to save my documents and downloads to yahoo so i can get to them later when i get settled in my new place.

you get 1 GB of space, which should be enough for about everything you want to save, unless you have a whole lot of very large files.
If you prefer to use yahoo, go to http://briefcase.yahoo.com/youryahooname and then click on addfiles, and follow directions from there. However, you are limited to 30 mb of space. For photo's, you can go to yahoo photos or flickr and upload your photos there, and if you dont want them to be seen by other people, just make them private.
