I think this is normal. It may take a few cycles until things are back to normal. Call your doctor if you're not sure.

My period lasted forever when I finally got it for the first time after having my baby, so things are just being fine tuned right now. It might be a few months before it gets back to normal, maybe it'll go back right away!

I was still nursing when my period came back each time. My periods lasted longer and were heavier at first each time. My cycles were also longer for a while, some as long as 55 days! It took me about 5 cycles to get to a predictable pattern.

communicate on your dr, I had this ensue to me from the time i became thirteen- 17 and the only reason it stopped became I went on the pill. I even have/ had dysmenorreah and it would reason me to omit a minimum of a week of faculty each month, vomiting, undesirable diarreah (i understand TMI).. I even had sessions and bleeding that lasted 30-40 days. communicate on your dr, you're able to would desire to verify a dr approximately taking the pill to modify your hormones. i'm hoping this helps.
