If you are going to be bald, the shampoo isn't causing it.

Shampooing will have nothing to do with it. But there are "hair growth" shampoos out there. They may work a little for some (try drugstore.com), but they are also very expensive and you must use them according to their directions and it will take months..etc.

There is also hair clubs for men, or similiar where they implant the hairs from the back of your head into your scalp. Again, expensive and time-consuming, but if you want hair, that's an option.

You can also just shave your head from now on. Do you look good bald? Try it out! See what people say. Don't hide behind a hat forever. And don't get those funny side hair burns and bald on top (just shave it if you get to that point..lol!)

I do know people who went prematurely bald in their twenties. It can happen (genetically, look at your father or grandfather, are they bald?) Ask your dad/grandpa/uncles when they went bald. It is called alopecia (you can google it for info).

My last item I would like to throw in: is that, is this from something else besides genetic (alopecia)? Is your health okay, no cancer, no diabetes, no thyroid problems, no hormone problems? Get those checked out, if you don't have those then you are okay. Things like a thyroid problem can cause hair loss. Also if you're taking medication, some medications cause hair loss. And watch out for shampoos with "tar" similair anti-dandruff shampoos (like Denorex) can cause hair loss.

Other than that...keep doing what you 're doing good luck!

NOPE !!!! if you are going bald not to worry, but yes if you are less in age it will not be a better option. try these things out .

I do not know where do you stay but if you can do following things you will find the change in 1 month try this out.

1. assure that the shampoo you use is made up of good quality ingredients.

2. make sure that the shampoo is removed completely from your scalp.

3. while you apply the shampoo. take a little amount in a tumbler and make a lather and apply on your scalp, instead of putting it directly on your head.

4. if you are able to get an Indian store grab a bottle of coconut oil and massage a few drops on your head every night before you sleep.

5. if coconut oil is not available, jojoba oil or even olive oil / almond oil can do . but remember only few drops before bed time.

6. If you are in India then try oil of Atmasantulan Village Ayurveda treatment.

No it's not. If you go bald that's life don't stress about it it will just happen faster. Go to Wal-Mart and by a shampoo called mane and tail.it's a horses shampoo found in the pet supplies. It costs about $8. for a litre and it will help kepp your hair from thinning out further. I know a few people that swear by it. Make sure you rinse your hair very well, keep the follicles clear of soapy residue and brush it.

no it is not bad to shampoo your hair everyday just make sure you use a conditioner.. now as for being bald that is a family trait , it comes from the mothers side of the gene pool, did her brothers lose their hair early in life is her father bald if so then you may also one day be bald as well, but i would'nt worry so much about it a lot of women find a bald man to be very sexy

No, actually many myths such as wearing hats or using too much shampoo are completely false. Testosterone production and the levels one's body has is determined by genetics. The more testosterone one has, the more likely they will go bald. In this way, you can see that going bald is something that cannot be changed. Don't worry though, the whole shaved head thing? Women love it

hey there 5646
I'm sorry to tell you this but if you are going to be bald then you are going to be bald. There is nothing you can do about it. Washing your hair every day will not make it fall out quicker but it will keep you hair follicles clean and will help your hair grow.
If and when it does start to fall out under no (may I repeat NO)circumstances do a "comb over" it does not fool anyone and everyone that sees you is laughing at you because of it. Bald men are very sexy eg. Vin Deisle, Ami James.

i don't think it is...why do you reckon you are going bald?...could it be the back of your head that is going bald? if so this usually happens when people lay in a certain position at nyt or if a person has long hair then it can appear to be going bald from the back. Maybe you could change your pattern and wash it every other day and see if this works...or maybe you could try straighting your hair...i knw it sounds "girly" but loads of guys do it and if it stops you from feeling paranoid about going bald why not give it a go;)...good luck

the causes of baldness are genetic, also using a very alkaline shampoo or a lot of chemicals on your hair will accelerate your hair loss
make an asset of it, you will be surprised how many girls like bald men, shave it all off, who will know then than you are loosing your hair...
and for god's sake, do stay clear of the "comb over" or the dreaded shagpile rug some men insist on wearing - be BOLD -

That is too much shampooing. It will dry out your hair. It is OK to just stand under the shower and scrub your hair in the spray without using soap, it will clean it a lot more than you think and will not dry it out.. Shampoo once or twice a week.
