My dermatologist recommends Cetaphil.

This all depends on what is going on with your skin. If you have allergies, Cetaphil is better. If you have Rosecea, use Cetaphil. If you just have dry skin, Dove would be OK. Cetaphil has less things in it to irritate. The Wal-Mart generic Cetaphil works just fine, both the moisturizer and cleanser.

I have sensitive dry skin myself and I use the Walmart brand of the Cataphil liquid cleanser....it moisturizes my face while cleaning it and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
