Is this a good campgin slogan or a bumper sticker for the short story The Necklace:?or if u can think of one?

“Don't sacrifice for an illusion"
OR
"The punishment you create for yourself is more severe than that assigned by another?"

I was thinking of one but can't so make revisions if needed. Also I did read th story!!

Also please describe what ur bumper sticker is realating to the story

I am not going to do your homework for you. However, I do love the story The Necklace, so I will give you suggestions.

The necklace she lost was fake, but beautiful enough that she thought it was real, so she took it upon herself to replace it with a real one......

I would use something suggesting that you can't tell the real value of an item from it's outward appearence. Something to the tune of beauty is only skin deep, but reworded to better fit with the story.

I don't like neither one of them. They sound too judge mental. " Sacrifice for a better universe.
