I think that the Red Sox and Yankees will get some....I also think that Sariano will end up in Philly....And if The Giants don't re-sign Bonds, then there is a good possibility that the Angels will sign him(Although it would KILL the Giants if he broke the record in another uniform), Also in the Mix for Bonds could be Baltimore-But that maybe to far for Bonds to travel, he would like to stay on the West Coast to be near his family

Everyone has been going with the Red Sox and the yankees, but lets not forget the Mets. After a fantastic finish during the regular season but dissapointing ending in the post-season.....you come to the conclusion they need a strong number 1 pitcher. Pedro is possibly out for the 2007-2008 season, Glavine may opt to go back to the Braves, and the Mets don't have any other pitchers to win the 15 games that Trachsel won. It's a strong bet that they'll be aggressive with signing top free agents like Zito, Schmidt, and Matsuzaka.

If the Mets don't get Matsuzaka, the Yankees probably will as they would like to improve their pitching from another upsetting season

Bobby Abreu is not a free agent but I think Bonds will be back with SF unless Oakland signs him. Zito will go to Braves or
Yankees, Frank Thomas could end up anywhere but CHX. MLB.com has a thing where you can guess what teams will sign 15 Free Agents for Prize.

Abreu is a Yankee He has a Contract thats why we are giving up Sheffield,,We are looking for a perm1st basemen,I think we will get the Japanese pitcher, and maybe Zito!! and some middle relief
pitching,,the big babies in this place will piss and moan, because they expect the yankees to just sit back and not do a thing about our shitty pitching,They better just shut up and deal with the fact that steinbrenner is gonna spend a boatload of money on pitching!

Since when is Bobby Abreu a free agent? And yeah zito is probably going to the yankees by any chance.

I know that as a Giants fan that getting rid of Bonds is a 50/50 chance. I heard somewhere that he could possibly go to the DODGERS!!!I I heard he lives in Beverly Hills now. That would be a dagger in the heart.

I think the A's will keep Frank Thomas. Very productive when needed.

Gagne, who wants him? He's a 'roid freak! Maybe the Yankees. Isn't that where all the 'Roiders go (Giambi, Sheffield)

Maddux is ancient. Not sure who will take him. Hall of Fame pitcher for sure.

the biggest FA the Red Sox could land is Julio Lugo, no one bigger.

They are building their own talent now, especially among pitching (as evidenced by no mid year trades of any note)

Zito to the dodgers, angels or padres, who cares if NY teams wants him, he does not want them

Scmidt to seattle, thomas stays in oakland, Abreu and the yankees is good, because he is still there, Gagne stays with the dodgers under a new contract, maddax dodgers, bonds will be giants or bust, Matsuzaka to the yankees, Soriano to the angels or hte phillies, i bet the phillies

I think the Yankees will get most of their best off-season work done in re-signing Mussina and trading Sheffield to get some young talent and pitching. I dont think they will get Zito if they bring back Mussina and they should go after Casey to play 1st so the Tigers dont.
