You could do a lot of things. They can come here to Uttaranchal to see Rishikesh, Haridwar, Mussorie and if they are adventerous enough can go deeper into the Himalayas.
White water rafting and para gliding in the Himalayas is quite adventerous, besides trekking and ofcourse, the JimCorbett national park.
Also, you can take the usual tourist circit of Rajasthan, Goa, and Kerala.

A country with lots of traditions and you never know what actually you can take as gift for them! The big big clothes they wear and almost in every school or top rated universities! The scholars... And yeah, cricket fans! Lots of voice and noise in thier home all the time when its a match going on!

activities for anyone coming to visit u would be the same i suppose.u can give them a taste of your country/city, in whichever way u think appropriate. give them a brief history & then if there are any historical sites u could ask them to visit or maybe take them out yourself. if there are conducted tours, u could inform your visitors. ask them what their interests are & u could plan their itenary accordingly. must ensure that they taste your cuisine. tell them about the artifacts of your place, in case they would like to take some mementos back with them. also u must try to teach them the basics of your language, like how to greet people & how to say thanks.
indians love welcoming people to their home/country. they would feel nice if they could get some warmth from u & do not get the feeling that they are imposing on u.
