I collect social security as allowed for a widow but am anticipating marriage and wonder what happens to my Soc. Sec. now. My future mate and I are both in our 80s and he also collects S.S.

You won't lose yours, but if you get any from your former spouse, you will lose his.
It's just like alomony once a person get's married, it makes the alomony void.

It reverts back to the partial benefit rate. so yes!

I think you both lose it, and you won't get your late spouse's pension either, I believe.

if its your own s.s. u will still get it but if its deceased i think it WILL stop
