£2.99 and it tastes like crap, that is the big mac. an ordinary hamburger - the size of a teaspoon- will set you back 99 pences. dont forget, in the uk, food regulations are virtually non-existent, so it is possible to have cheap meals because there are meat substitute available instead of the real thing.
i have had a mcdonald in france, and there, it tastes absolutely lovely - real meat, no colorant added... - but it is more expensive
