no,, but Spanish people have all of their annsestors and spouses name included in their own name. For example: say the persons name was Julia Marie Therer , they would take the name of their mothers and fathers from generations back and then their name would be something like Julia anne margot warez juarez therer. And if they are married, then their whole name would be Julia anne margot warez juarez currier sanchez martin Therer. Isnt that weird?

It's custom to take on the surname (last name). The first and middle name remain with the individual and is not carried onto the spouse. The last name is the indicator of what family the individual belong to, which is why it's also known as the "family name."
I, personally, did take on my husband's last name. It was a symbolic way for me to show that we were now "one" instead of two separate people.

You would just take his last name if you choose to. I've never heard of anyone taking the husbands middle name.

Just the last name. Some husbands even change THEIR name to their wives' last name - used to be the custom in affluent families.

Sometimes, you may receive an invitation to Mr and Mrs Gaylord Faulkner. For you personally, if you choose to take your husbands name it would be Kay Faulkner.

Just the last, but sometimes people say "Mr & Mrs Joe Henry Bloggs" Like you don't exist or something.
Being the stubborn person I am I'd probably keep my maiden name, there's no way I'd give a bloke the upper hand in any way, shape or form!

Just the last name and you don't have to do that if you don't want to.
