I TOTALLY agree with you! No one should be killed let alone have people watch it on t.v.!!! I don't care if people say they can't help it and it's just human nature because I have absolutely no desire to see him hung even though he is an evil man. I'm a human and since I have no such desires it can't be human nature.

I agree with you.The morals of most people have declined to a point where watching someones death is entertainment for them.Even though he was an evil man and he deserves the punishment he is getting, that does not give anyone the right to watch his actual death. This would not be the movies, this would be real.Imagine if it was broadcast and a child happened to see it.Your attitude about this at your young age is far more intelligent than the so called adults that think this would be great to watch. We have become a very sick society.

I agree with you! You are certainly very mature for a 14 year old.

I have never seen a person hang and certainly do not want to. It is not entertainment. What sort of psychological impact would that have on a child seeing it on TV?

There certainly are some sick people around

Agreed. This ghoulish fascination of watching someone hang for entertainment shows how desensitized we are come as a society. Pity the souls who take satisfaction in others suffering. Eventually, in their miserable lives, they will pay an ultimate price.

Life imprisonment on a basic regime is what Saddam should get on appeal.

Why anyone wants to watch a death in public is beyond me - unfortunately in the Middle East it is very common as in other parts of the world. You are quite right to find it sickening - it is.

It lowers us to same position as him - Butchers.

In France people used to gather around to watch people get beheaded by guillatines.

It's human nature. People like to see things that they do not ordinarily see on a daily basis.

That's why violence exisits and people that enjoy watching it.

I agree with you. Televised executions are just plain wrong. Death is not an entertainment source.
