Seems to me that both 'leaders' have engaged in the same 'crimes against' humanity? Only one is being executed . . . the other can only be assasinated?

I think that is probably true but it seems that only the leadership of the losing side ever gets tried for war crimes.

e.g.

Truman was never tried over Hirshima and Nagasaki deliberately bombing cities full of non combatant civilians.

Kennedy was never tried over the CIA attempting to assasinate Fidel Castro.

Saddam killed thousands of Kurds and was a ruthless dictator.

So what has Bush done thats as bad as that? More teenagers die in car crashes than in fighting in Iraq. More teenage kids die each year behing the wheel of a car than in fighting for their country. So if your issue is "Pull the troops out how many more have to die?" I agree with you, death is a terrible thing and we should find a way to stop the fighting. But if we pull out now, Iraq is going to go to its old ways where thousands more are needlessly massacared because of somthing they say or believe in. Dont you think every country diserves the freedoms we have? I do.
